Lappkärrsberget is a residential area in Norra Djurgården in central-eastern Stockholm, Sweden. Located just north of Stockholm University, it is known for the approximately 2,000 student flats located there.
There is a tradition called “anxiety scream” that takes place in the area every Tuesday at 22:00, where residents open their windows and scream for several minutes. It is not known when the tradition started, but it is generally believed that it began as a reaction to the stress caused by university exams.
